Nightlife

Singapore understands the need to party as hard as you work.

Whether you’re letting loose at the weekend or busting stress in the middle of the week, there are perfect spots for everyone to chill out at.

Clubbing

Get down to a different beat every night, from hip-hop to cantopop, rock-and-roll to jazz, techno to salsa. The diversity of clubs in Singapore means you’ll never run out of options when it comes to partying.

St James Power Station is Singapore’s largest nightlife hub catering to Professionals, Managers, Executives and Businessmen (PMEBs), with nine outlets offering distinct music themes, from world music to R&B and jazz, and the latest dance grooves.

You can also spend a classy evening at the Bellini Grande, which styles itself as a modern-day supper club, delivering the sophisticated sounds of an 18-piece band with an international cast of performers.

The ‘three quays’ – Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay – provide riverside dining and pubbing experiences in a casual yet urbane setting, but each with their own flavour. You’ll enjoy the convivial atmosphere and waterfront ambience.

For a still different vibe, head down to Sentosa’s various beach bars for glorious views, cool jazz, and the perfect sunset end to a day.

Drinks

Orchard Road and the civic district have an abundance of watering-holes for the thirsty. Relax with a tipple and cigar at Mezza9’s Martini Bar, sip champagne 71 floors up in the New Asia Bar, or soak it up al fresco on the lit lawns of Chijmes.

Supper

Food is always on the agenda in Singapore, even in the wee hours. Hotels are always a safe bet, and you can also take your pick from hundreds of kopi-tiams, prata joints, and cafes all over the island, some of which are open round the clock.

Note that smoking is generally off-limits at nightspots except in designated areas.
